protocol

murmur turns a crowd into an instrument. this is how the instrument is tuned.

1. the forecast

a question is any future event with a clear resolution: a price by a date, a release before a deadline, an outcome that will be true or false. the flock opens questions worth asking.

to take part you stake $MURMUR and place a graded forecast, not a yes/no bet but a probability: how likely, how soon, how much. your forecast is one bird in the murmuration.

2. the fusion

the murmur continuously folds every open forecast into one number: a weighted consensus. each forecast is weighted by its owner's proven accuracy, so the signal leans on the birds who have earned trust.

this consensus updates in real time as forecasts arrive and shift. it is the swarm's mind, visible and moving.

3. weight

weight is your influence over the signal. it is earned, never bought.

a whale who is wrong loses their pull. a small, sharp forecaster gains it. the murmur trusts history, not holdings.

4. settlement and rewards

when a question resolves, the reward pool pays out to the forecasts that pulled the consensus toward the truth. being right when the crowd was wrong pays the most, because that is exactly the input that made the flock smarter.

5. the signal

once a day the murmur publishes one consensus number per question, onchain and openly readable: a self-correcting oracle owned by the flock that shaped it. anyone can watch it. no one owns it alone.

$MURMUR

roadmap

phase one · the gathering

launch, the first flock, and a handful of live questions. the swarm learns to fly.

phase two · the signal

daily published consensus onchain, weight histories, and the first signal consumers.

phase three · open sky

anyone can open a question, an open signal feed, and integrations that pay to read the flock.

faq

is this a prediction market?

no. a market prices a binary. murmur fuses thousands of graded forecasts into one continuous, weighted consensus. the output is a living signal, not a single bet.

why weight instead of one-person-one-vote?

because the crowd is not uniformly wise. weighting by track record is what turns a noisy crowd into a sharp instrument.

when does it launch?

soon. follow the flock on x for the call.
